"Forget it man. The guy has not only been a serious influence on most of today's major league players, he actually founded the damn league. Going to see and hear Rocco Prestia play is like going back to school. He is the Master."
Grammy® Award winner and renowned bassist John Patitucci

Legendary bassist Rocco Prestia, known for his unique “16th note” style of playing, is in urgent need of a kidney transplant. A "Help Rocco” fund has been established to help with the medical expenses not covered by insurance, and there will also be a fundraiser at the Honolulu Hard Rock Café on Saturday October 20. Performing will be: Anna Marie and the Elements; Kapena; Henry Kapono; Brother Noland and Kata Maduli; Jake Shimabukuro; and H2O with a tribute to Tower of Power!

Tickets are $65, which includes one drink from the Hard Rock’s happy hour menu. For tickets, call (808) 282-5577 or email MT-KALIHI@hawaii.rr.com  (Note: limited seating available! Seating opens at 2:30pm; show is 2:45-6:30pm.)

You may also donate online or by mail. No amount is too small!

To donate by mail, please send a check or money order made payable to "Help Rocco Fund" to:
